Imported from the USA in the summer of 2005, the cars are the result of co-operation between Honda and Minimoto and have been universally acclaimed as the "best" electric car on the market today.

They are wonderfully responsive and provide all the features you would expect to find on upper end racing go karts. It has a quality sturdy frame and (unlike many others with solid tyres which crack / split  and provide  poor traction) the Honda Minimoto has real air filled tyres which give a better overall feel. It has a real  disc braking system which allows the car to stop quickly.  The styling of the car is second to none with its Honda colour scheme,  front air dam and formula one style side pods.  This  vehicle will capture  the imagination of our up and coming racing drivers.

The powerful 5oo watt, electric VORTEC motor provides impressive performance.
It is powered by a rechargeable 36 volt battery

Safety is our No 1  concern so our young drivers will be using the "training mode" which  limits the top speed to 10 mph . In addition the cars are equipped with a
"cut-out"  switch which disables the motor. None of the motor, drive train or braking system are exposed to our young drivers and the vehicles are fitted with seat belts.

The cars are a wonderful combination of safe and exciting as they race around our purpose built track. In addition they have that unusual quality for a high- performance vehicle of this kind….they are QUIET!!….and emit no fumes
